Nova Scotia 2020 Cross Country Ski Provincials

Location: Oakfield Golf and Country Club
Opens- will close at 10 pm the night before each race.Register for Provincials
- All welcome – from novice skiers to seasoned racers
- Prizes and free entry for children under 12
Saturday, Feb 22: Freestyle (Skate) technique (mass start races in each category begin at 2:00pm)
Sunday, Feb 23: Classic technique (individual starts begin at 10:00am)
Race Distances and Categories
We have a 1.8km loop at OAKFIELD GOLF COURSE. It is 15-20 feet wide, will be spectator friendly, more parking and we will have access to the clubhouse.

Children 12 and under: Free registration (but you still need to register in advance)
- Youth 13-18: $5 per race
Adults (19+): $25/ race or both for $40.
* Same day registration will be available for an extra $10.
All proceeds go to the Halifax Nordic trail grooming fund.
* Due to Nova Scotia’s always uncertain weather and snow conditions, registration will open on Thursday, February 20 at 8 am.
*Skiers who are not members of a CCNS-affiliated club must purchase a 1-day membership when they register for the races (Under 12: Free, 13-18: $5, 19+: $20). We also encourage you to join one of our clubs – check them out on the CCNS web page: www.crosscountryns.ca
*Logistics: Possibly power at Oakfield but best not to assume.
