Halifax Nordic Ski Club is a community organization of over 400 Nordic skiers who enjoy cross-country skiing in the Halifax region.
Learn to ski Programs – youth and adult, cross-country group instruction offered at McDonald Sports Park and Brunello Links – January to March. Ski equipment rentals are available for youth registered in programs. The club facilitates training for coaches and officials.
Trail-grooming – volunteer groomers use club equipment to groom trails at the Bryan Scallion ski trails at McDonald Sport Park in Waverley, Graves-Oakley Memorial Park in Spryfield, the Links at Brunello Estates near Timberlea and at Dollar Lake Provincial Park near the Halifax airport.
Club events and races – Fun events to get people outside on cross-country skis: Nordic Fest, Dollar Lake Loppet, night-races, gear-swap, club trips to ski in New Brunswick, Cape Breton and beyond. Competitve races to further the sports of biathlon and cross-country skiing: Ski for Steve, Provincial championship races.

MNSC is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, elected at the Annual General Meeting held each spring.

MNSC is part of Cross Country Ski Nova Scotia, Biathlon Nova Scotia and Cross Country Canada.
